An unpruned basswood tree suddenly became a property hazard after neglect caused the trunk to split. Arbor Green Tree Service expertly planned and oversaw the titular tree removal service on the commercial property in Trumbull, Connecticut.
American Linden trees, colloquially known as basswoods, require consistent pruning to prevent splits down the center. Once these splits develop, it’s only a matter of time until the tree’s branches break off in precarious directions. For one Trumbull business owner, weakened branches threatened customer vehicles in their parking lot and roadway traffic without prompt professional tree removal.

Leaning Basswoods Threaten Commercial Infrastructure
The basswoods sported deep cracks right through the centers of their trunks. One-half of each tree’s structure faced either the commercial parking lot or the Trumbull roadway. If a branch fell, it could smash into an unsuspecting driver or visitor’s vehicle.
Thus, the specimens posed a liability for the property owner, who promptly contacted Arbor Green Tree Service about an emergency tree removal. The owner sought to protect their property and fellow locals. We rose to the challenge with our honed skills and professional equipment.
