Not every tree removal is simple. For a homeowner in Trumbull, CT, a massive, mature pine tree was causing problems for nearby plants and other trees and needed to come down. The challenge? The homeowners were adamant that they didn’t want any damage to the surrounding landscaping.
Arbor Green Tree Service determined that crane-assisted tree removal was the best approach for this job.
When Hazardous Tree Removal Gets Complicated
- Client Profile: Residential
- Location: Trumbull, Connecticut
- Type of Service: Crane-Assisted Tree Removal
- Duration: Four Hours
- Tree Type: Pine
- Season: Summer
- Specific Challenges: Arbor Green Tree Service worked with a homeowner to safely remove a tall tree in a densely wooded backyard. Because the tree extended over nearby landscaping and was surrounded by other mature trees, the crew used an aerial lift to carefully cut and lower sections in a controlled manner. They took extra care throughout the process to avoid any impact on the surrounding vegetation and property.
Conventional Removal Wasn’t an Option
This project had several challenges: limited access to the work area, an extremely tall trunk, a widespread tree canopy, and proximity to valuable plantings. The professional tree service determined that controlled dismantling was the only responsible course of action. Crane-assisted tree removal would allow the crew to work in sections rather than attempting a full drop.
This type of aerial tree removal is particularly effective in wooded residential settings where space is restricted, and accuracy is critical. The crew carefully cut and lowered sections of the pine, taking care to minimize movement to avoid impacting surrounding vegetation.
Successful Large Tree Dismantling Depends on Experience as Much as Equipment
Bringing the correct machinery to the site is a big part of large tree dismantling, but the experience and knowledge of a professional tree service is even more important. Crane-assisted tree removal is only as effective as the planning and technique behind it. Incorrect cutting or rigging can quickly turn a controlled operation into a damaging one.
Arbor Green Tree Service brought the equipment and field experience needed to ensure tree removal safety, both for the crew and the surrounding property.
