Because of the massive trunk and heavy wood sections, the crew used specialized machinery to safely handle and transport the logs, ensuring efficient removal without causing any disruption to the surrounding property.
How Arbor Green Tree Service Planned the Tree Removal
Standard removal equipment usually isn’t enough to safely take down large pine trees. The sheer weight of the trunk sections meant the crew needed heavy machinery just to move the logs once they hit the ground. When this West Haven homeowner called Arbor Green Tree Service, the crew arrived and assessed the pine’s size and condition before putting together a removal plan.
They identified the safest sequence for bringing the tree down in sections and determined which machinery they needed to handle and transport the heavy log sections without disrupting the surrounding property.
Removing the Massive Trunk Using Specialized Machinery
The crew worked through the pine from the top down, taking the tree apart in controlled sections to manage the weight and keep every cut away from the surrounding property. Once the trunk was down, they brought in an excavator to grip and move the massive log sections, which were too heavy to handle with standard equipment.
The crew processed the remaining wood and cleared the backyard, finishing with stump grinding to remove the base and leave the property clean. Removing the pine eliminated the risk of future storm damage cleanup and prevented the need for emergency tree service calls if a storm brought the tree down on its own.
Before they left, the crew recommended tree maintenance services like tree trimming and pruning to avoid similar situations in the future. If you have a large or hazardous tree that needs removal in West Haven, CT, call Arbor Green Tree Service at (203) 615-2496 for tree removal services.
